Never in my life would I think an airport would be a highlight of any trip. Usually when I think of airports, I am reminded of delays and way overpriced food, but all of these preconceived were changed once I landed in the Lion City. I felt as if I had been transported to another world, like I was at a botanical garden even though I was only a few feet away from my gate. Flowers, plants, and even a waterfall grabbed my attention and it was hard to believe this was even an airport. We ended up touring the grounds for well over an hour and my introduction to Singapore couldn’t have been better. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect airport and was so excited to see it, and can’t wait to go back!
