Our third day was filled with visiting some of the institutions and organizations that make up the country, and getting to meet both educators and students of one of Taiwans most prestigious public universities at NTPU. The guest lecture was one of many of the educational experiences. For me getting to meet kids our age and going through their college experience on the other side of the world is a beyond valuable experience. From exploring their expansive campus and getting to talk and learn their life experience it was a great time. The student we paired up with suggested of all places a KFC. While we have these in America he insisted we try a dessert that they only have here and it was amazing. The dessert was a wafer cheesecake and I personally think they should bring it back to the states.
once we left NTPU we went over to Kneron. This visit the AI company was really cool as we got to explore some of the beautiful buildings they have all over the city and actually get some valuable insight into some of the incredible technologies that come from this nation. Their multifaceted, customizable and airgapped AI systems show to be a promising g leap forward in all the fields they are expanding into. Overall meeting with all these great organizations lead to an incredible day!
