On the Friday June 8th, the whole entire verano español program traveled to the quiet mountain of Candelario. Going into this excursion I had no idea what to expect for the duration of this trip. On the way we stoped in Salamanca for a quick tour given to what we thought was an expert. Even though he was very knowledgeable about the area, I had the opinion that he talked to much. However, during our quick free time I had a great meal and coffee with my friends. Apon arrival to Candelario, I had the expectation of a relaxing weekend which was exactly what it was. I had a single room which allowed me to catch up on sleep from the strenuous environment in Madrid. Also, being so close to my friends on the trip instead of home stays allowed us to have a much needed bonding weekend. All in all, Candelario will definitely be a experience that I will remember from this trip forever.
