After the adventures of Wellington, I got on another flight (which I almost missed) to Auckland! I though Wellington fulfilled the city feeling that I was missing, but man, Auckland is much bigger (still not as big as home cities). In Auckland I stayed with a friend I made during my first week in New Zealand , Mikaela. I met her in our orientation program but after our week of orientation, everyone in the group split and went to different universities all over NZ. It was so much fun getting to reconnect and see each other again. Auckland was way more upbeat and down right tiring. Here is me when I arrived: you can tell I really have it all together …
Once I arrived it was action up until the morning I left. We all walked all over the city and even took the ferry to neighboring towns. I fell in love with one small beach town, Devonport. If I ever come back to New Zealand, it will be to Devonport because I will move there and live happily ever after 🙂 It is the cutest town directly across from Auckland city and it is so calm compared to the upbeat lifestyle across the harbor, I love it. Here is Devonport!!
