My time at Kansai Gaidai as a student is over but not my time in Japan. I have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to intern in Tokyo over the summer. Although I will be in Japan till August, it still was sad to see all my friends from all over the world leave for home. While I have made some amazing friends, I don’t know if I would be able to see all of them again and it was really upsetting. I have made some amazing friends and have had an amazing experience in Osaka but I’m excited to be moving to Tokyo to get a taste of working life. I will be interning at a supplement and vegan health company specializing in the media and brand side of the company. We had orientation on Monday and were given our assignments for the summer. My internship technically does not start until the 17th of June because I will be traveling with my family. I am absolutely in love with Tokyo and cannot wait to make it my home for the next few months!
