During this trip, we have had many opportunities to explore the culture of Spain and really immerse ourselves into the country. I had the privilege of attending the qualifying game for the UEFA tournament in which Spain played Sweden. This event was located at the Satiago Bernabeu stadium, the home stadium of Real Madrid. The stadium is massive and gorgeous and the surrounding area was filled with people and entertainment. This was an amazing way to see how the people of Spain and Europe are extremely passionate about their futbol. The game was a great way to be put in a scenario that is somewhat foreign to me, but very common to the people of Spain and I had a blast at the game. Not to mention, Spain ended up winning which definitely enhanced the experience.
