Hi everyone!
Greetings from Madrid, Spain! Madrid has been such a wonderful experience so far, with so many incredible sights to see. Perhaps one of the most peaceful and tranquil places to visit whilst in Madrid would be Retiro Park. Nothing could be more enjoyable than strolling through Madrid’s lovely common green on a warm afternoon. Locals and visitors alike run, bike, and even take their children to Retiro Park to enjoy the scenery and the beautiful outdoors. Retiro Park is something that everyone can appreciate, whether old or young. The timeless trees are absolutely stunning, and there is an area where you can rent a boat to row across a small lake in the middle of the park. Spanish monuments are scattered throughout the park such as the elaborate Crystal Palace, and the walking trails are highly extensive. There are even art exhibits to enhance the Retiro experience as you make your way through the park. I highly suggest spending an afternoon or two in Retiro Park, as it is not something you will want to miss!
Below is a picture of an art exhibit within the Crystal Palace in Retiro Park named Tuiza by Federico Guzmán, and a pathway leading to a large monument in Retiro can also be seen.
