Before departing off to London I was filled with all different types of emotions. I was sad to leave my family but so excited for the journey ahead of me. As I arrived at my Maida Vale apartment for the semester I was greeted by two amazing CAPA staff. I spent that day unpacking, meeting my new roommates, and attending afternoon tea with CAPA! CAPA was so welcoming and made me feel so comfortable. I spent the next week adapting to my new life in London. During that time, I learned how to get used to taking the underground every day to school and to get around London. I personally LOVED taking the tuber everywhere it made me feel more independent and excited because I want to move to a city after graduation. I felt so welcome in London, every person I met was so polite and accepting. CAPA took us on day trips to places like Buckingham palace, different museums, and offered us the choice of places to travel on some Saturdays. These places included Cambridge, Brighton, and Oxford. Even though I felt as though our classes were very long I really enjoyed my experience at CAPA. I was so sad to leave London but so grateful that I had the opportunity to experience it for the semester. I can confidently say I loved my experience and I will be back in London in the future!
