In less than one week I will be leaving for Queen Mary University in London. Even though I am so excited for this opportunity to study abroad this semester, I am also a little nervous! I still have a lot to do to get ready for the trip, am a little nervous to study at a new school, and it is going to be such a different experience traveling to Europe. Most of my past experiences abroad have been vacations to the Caribbean, so I have not ever experienced a new culture, and seen many historical and influential places. I am hoping that I will have plenty of time to try and travel throughout Europe because a few of the reason I chose to study abroad in London was due to the wonderful things I have heard about the culture, how fun of a city it is, and, in hopes, that I would easily be able to travel around Europe, and visit many more places. I have received so many suggestions of places I should visit. I have been told to try and see places in London like Big Ben, the Kensington Palace, and the London Eye, but I have also been told to try and visit the catacombs in Paris. This is going to be a fun semester, and I am very excited to leave next week and embark on my new adventure!
