Being in Australia has been absolutely so amazing. I have met some incredible people while here that I am hoping to never lose touch with. On e 15 minute bus ride from my home stay takes me to one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been to. Bondi beach is just breathtaking. I love being able to just hop on the bus and get there so quickly. I have been lucky enough to even surf there for my first surfing lesson! Next to the beach there are so many stores to walk around in, cafes and restaurants! My friends and I love going to this one cafe called Speedos. Every time we have gone we have had something delicious. The view from the cafe is absolutely stunning also! Sometimes if I am having a stressful day or I’m just tired, I always jump on the bus to sit by the beach and relax. One weekend Bondi had the Festival of the Winds, which was a kite festival. It was absolutely gorgeous! There were so many kites. There is another festival coming up called Sculptures by the Sea. I am really excited to see what that will be like.
