Two weekends ago I went to Copenhagen, Denmark. It was extremely pretty and fun, but the weekend was a little tiring. We had to leave the school at 3 a.m. Friday morning for our flight, and it was hard to catch up on sleep after that because there was so much we wanted to see! I think over the whole weekend we walked like 25 miles, or something crazy like that. One of the first stops we made was a row of houses on the water, and it made for a very cool picture. The rest of the weekend we walked around to various castles, saw the mermaid statue on the water, and we went to some military barracks. All the leaves were changing colors, so it made for a nice fall trip. Copenhagen seemed a lot quieter and more laid back than London, which was nice for a change. The weather was relatively nice, and the sun was always shining, which was also a little different from London. It is usually a little cloudy here.
This upcoming week is reading week, and I am going to Barcelona and Rome for the week. Yesterday morning I got an email saying to check in for my flight that was on 11/6, and that’s when I realized I booked my flight for the wrong day, it was supposed to be on 11/7. Oops! I was able to change it luckily. One of the places I have been so excited to go is Rome, so I am really looking forward to this trip, and cannot wait to see Italy. I am sure Spain will be really fun as well.
