I recently visited Dublin, Ireland with my best friend who is studying abroad through Florida State University. We had an early flight on Friday morning at 6:30 am. Since the night tube STILL has not started (we have been waiting for this for quite some time), we had to take the bus at 3am. Needless to say, we arrived to Dublin exhausted and decided to nap. Later that evening we visited the famous Temple Bar. All of the bars we visited that evening had great live music, which I loved.
On Saturday, we explored the city and took a hop on, hop off bus tour. I did the same type of tour in Amsterdam, and I really enjoyed the tour because it was a great way to learn more about the city in a short period of time. We hopped off the bus at the Guinness Factory. It took us some time to explore all 7 floors!
I head that Howth was a beautiful, small town not too far from Dublin. It took about 45 minutes to get there by bus. The weather was nicer; the sun came out. Howth was beautiful! We were right on the coast and had the best seafood in this quaint sea town.
I am grateful that I got to visit Dublin and experience the Irish culture.
