Now that my time has ended in Shanghai, I can only look back and thing about what my life would have been this year. How many places I wouldn’t have seen, people I would’ve never met, lessons learnt, and most importantly, culture I would not have experienced – especially the food.
So after much reflecting back (and days of jet lag), I really want to impart how I feel about study abroad: DO it. Don’t question it for one minute. Your journey might be hard to come to your decision, but that’s only the beginning. When you feel as if something is meant to be, then take the advantage. I am sure that all my classmates who studied abroad as well would agree that they would not take back a minute. The tough days were worth it, the even better days were proof and the experience was magical. Take the plunge into the deeper side of travel.
