This is a picture of the city of Segovia. I visited the city right at the end of my Verano en Madrid experience. I loved this city, it’s old and small, and reminded me of Toledo, another old city to the south of Madrid. What makes Segovia famous is the ancient Aqueduct. This massive structure spans over 2,500 feet in length, and was built in the first century A.D. I loved this city, because it was easy to walk the entire length of the city, and there were touristic places to grab food or coffee, hear live music, and visit gift shops, but there were sectioned off areas of the city that had no places of business, and were simply for walking and enjoying the view.
