When I look back onto my time abroad in Germany I will most likely remember the layout of Munster. I don’t think I would ever forget the churches or the sound they made (because I was woken up by one everyday at 7 am) or the history that goes with them. The churches were enormous and they had amazing architecture. The churches each one had a different design to it, inside and outside. I would look at these churches and marvel at how they could have been created 100’s of years ago with such amazing detail.
Another part of the Munster layout that I will always remember is the Promenade. I walked the Promenade everyday to get to class and every day was a different experience. The Promenade was wonderful because it protected me from the sun and shielded me from the rain. Being able to walk through the trees and seeing all of the bikers on their way to work was an unforgettable sight.
Another part of the layout that I wont forget is how everywhere you turned there was a store. The whole town looked like a giant outlet with expensive stores. There were bakeries and ice cream shops everywhere. Munster was a lovely city and a great introduction to Germany, I am going to miss walking around it everyday.
