Today is Wednesday, September 14th and week one in London is already over! It has been filled with laughter, smiles, and moments I will remember for a lifetime… and it’s only week one! On the first day I reunited with my freshman year roommate and met three new girls that I would be sharing a home with for the next few months! Luckily we all get a long super well. We all have different schedules so there hasn’t been any moments where it gets tense because someone is in the shower and someone else woke up late and only has a certain amount of time to blow dry her hair in the bathroom blah blah blah you get the point! We met up with a few people from Rollins and their roommates so that we could all meet more people. We went to a pub down the street called “Social”. We all had yummy England food. Although it wasn’t very different from America I did notice that instead of the crispy bacon that we eat in America they use thick ham-like bacon. We all made it a goal that night to find the Chipotle in London to feed our Chipotle-crave. The next day after we went to orientation we went to SOHO (a little part of London) and found it! We all had a great time figuring out the tube system (subway system) and I can’t wait to see the adventures we go on! This weekend CAPA has organized a field trip for all of us to go to Stonehenge and Bath. I am super excited!
