So I’ve been in this beautiful country for 2 weeks and it has not disappointed one bit.
Boring stuff out of the way first: the first week was orientation so no classes or anything there. Then last week was the first week of classes, but nothing terribly difficult or noteworthy happened with those. As expected, chemistry is going to be hella difficult, statistics will be fine, and my other two courses (a sociology class about inequalities and life stages and a gender and development class) will be so informational and fit right into my passion for equality and human rights, so I am stoked for that!
Not boring stuff: IRELAND IS SO BEAUTIFUL.
First of all, Maynooth University: 10/10. It’s basically Hogwarts and I’m in love.
The first weekend some friends and I explored Dublin and went on a school-led trip to a few historical sites in this area of the country.

Then this past weekend, we went on a tourist adventure to Giants Causeway and man, I was overwhelmed. It’s impossible to capture the beauty of this place on camera, not fully at least, but here are some attempts:
That’s all for now. Adventure awaits (along with tests and homework, but mostly adventure).
