Hi everyone! I am back!
I honestly cannot believe it has been 3 weeks since I got to London… it has all gone so fast and so slow at the same time!
I know you are probably tired of reading about by internship but it is such an amazing experience and I gave gotten to do so much cool stuff! This past week I went to visit other D&D restaurants and you won’t believe where they are…
Yep.. that is the view from all four of the restaurants I visited…. Cool right?
On a different note, I decided to leave central London and got to travel to surrounding zones and I got to the conclusion that I should spend as much time in central London as possible cuz outside of it is alright but is not as awesome! (at least not for me, maybe for you it is awesome, idk).
I went to Queen Mary this weekend (a university in London that has a partnership with Rollins and is another option to go abroad if you feel like you’d be more comfortable in a campus environment)… I visited some friends that just got to the UK and went with them to their “freshers week” (fancy way of saying “orientation party week”). If you’re into parties, freshers weeks are a good option cuz you get to go to clubs and pubs with a bunch of people the same age as you and most likely, as foreign to London as you.
Also! I got to know the artistic side of Camden Town (where I live)… I discovered many different hidden pieces of art on walls all over Camden… Like this one (my favorite)…
I have posted this pic everywhere… and here it is again!!!! (sorry, not sorry)
And finally, I discovered that what we know about London and its weather, is not completely true! You know, when you think of London, you imagine a cold, dark sky with lots of rain and maybe snow… Well actually, the past week has been extremely nice, very sunny, not a lot of rain but definitely still cold. (Too cold, I was not made for this weather).
Next week, I’ll let you know how my weekend in Germany iwent… Yep, that is right, I bought tickets to go to Germany (casually on the same weekend as Oktoberfest)… Some advice: BUY YOUR TICKETS AHEAD OF TIME OR THEY WILL BE VERY EXPENSIVE.
Until next time! Peace out…
