During my fall break I also went to Venice, Italy with my roommates, my friend Corey, and his friend Dianne! Before going to Venice I had heard it was very dirty, and there wasn’t much to see. I had mixed feelings about booking the trip to Venice because of all of the hate is was getting from friends that have been there before. Well, I am so glad I went because Venice was honestly one of the most beautiful places I have ever been too. We rented an AirBnb and spent two day that had the most beautiful weather. We went on a Gondola ride throughout the city and I was silent nearly the whole time, taking it all in. I facetimed my mom while I was there because she deserves to see everything that I do on my adventures as well. We also had the most amazing pizza. Here is a fun fact, Venice was the origin of margarita pizza! They use white mozzarella, green leaves, and red tomatoes to represent the Italy flag (red, white, and green). On the last night my friends and I all went to the middle of the city, had a bottle of wine, and enjoyed each others presence as well as the scenery as we closed off a great vacation with laughter. When we came back to London it almost felt as if we were home. I wonder how I’ll feel when I return to America.
Until next time,
