its now been about two weeks since I’ve been back from fall break and it was probably the best time of my life. I went to Italy with two of my roommates and we ended up backpacking around the coast of Italy. We hit Naples, Capri, Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast and Venice. We would start out each day with no plans whats so ever. We would wake up and decide what general area we wanted to go and walk to the train station buy a one way ticket and off we went on our adventure for the day. I prefer traveling this way because everything is so spontaneous. I feel that when you do things spontaneously they are more fun and memorable.
Naples was our home base for most of the trip. We didn’t really explore too much there we just had it as a place to come back and sleep at night because we would spend our days exploring everything we possibly could. The day we went to Capri we had Lunch next to the water and then went on a private boat tour around the whole island and we all bought matching red hot chilli pepper bathing suits to go swimming in. All of this was spontaneous and probably the most memorable day of the trip all of it was such an amazing experience.
