This is yet another late blog post, which just goes to show how busy and captivating life can be in London. The last two weeks of October I’ve become much more familiar with London as a city and Queen Mary as a school. With regards to London, I feel that no matter how much time I spend exploring the city I will never get tired of it. It is always exciting to take a walk around central London and the city seems endless. In these two weeks I began to realize how different school is over here than back in the states. One of the most startling differences is that classes are only once a week and as a result I have much more free time. It isn’t difficult to keep up with classes and sometimes I barely feel like I’m in school. Over these two weeks I became closer with the friends I’ve made here. Some of my best memories from these two weeks come from making dinner with friends and flat-mates and getting lost in the city. October ended with Halloween, which British people go all out for. Costumes were worn throughout the week almost anywhere I went. As October came to an end I started to realize that half my time in London was already over. I’m definitely going to miss this city and the people I’ve met.
