Rereading my letter was more interesting than I thought it would have been. In the beginning, prior to this program I thought it was a waste of a requirement but I am actually glad that it was.
Throughout my pre-pearture letter, I asked “FutureMe” a series of questions. A few of these questions are posted below:
- Have you visited any other countries like you planned?
– I have! Thankfully I was able to meet a lot of people who were excited to travel Europe. So far I have been to Spain, Germany, The Netherlands, France & Italy. Hopefully I will be able to visit more before I head back to the states.
(More blogs to come on the adventures in these countries) - I know you were pretty nervous about the living arrangements and the housing situation prior to departure, how are your feelings now?
– It was a big relief when I finally met my flatmates. Everyone in our flat gets along pretty well and there have been no arguments to date. We have planned several trips together along with other friends and It has been a great group of guys to live with. Yet we are very thankful for our weekly maid who cleans up after us because that gets rid of a big problem for us. Given the opportunity, I don’t think I would be able to pick another group of people to live with in this program. - Your spring semester at Rollins will be a tough one… Have you registered for classes and focused on your plan of action in 2017?- I have registered for 5 classes. I was lucky enough to get into the courses I needed without an issues. In regards to my “plan of action”, I am currently trying to search for either an internship or a job.
