On September 29 I went to Amsterdam with a friend. Everybody in Amsterdam rides bikes so we decided to rent bikes as well. It was a great decision because this enabled us to get to see so much more of the city. We went to the Anne Frank Museum which is actually the secret annex where she went into hiding. We also went to the Heineken Museum and tried Heineken beer which was found in Amsterdam. We went to the Rijksmuseum which is very well known in Amsterdam. The Van Gogh museum was my favorite. They had over 200 paintings of Van Gogh and they were all just incredible. Outside of the Van Gogh museum we got to see a beach Polo match which I had never seen before. We visited the coffee shops which are really well known in Amsterdam. I got to meet people from all over the world in Amsterdam. There is so much diversity in this city it’s incredible. There were many tourists as well. I really liked the open mindedness of the people living in Amsterdam. I got to meet people from Russia, Italy, United Kingdom and Hungary. The night life in Amsterdam is unbelievable and the city is full of young people.
