On October 6 I went to Copenhagen for the weekend with three of my friends. I had the idea to rent bikes just like in Amsterdam so we did! We got to see the mermaid statue which is where the story of the little mermaid originated from. We went to the National Museum of Copenhagen which is the most well known museum in Copenhagen. The Rosenborg Castle had a beautiful garden. We saw where the royalty of Denmark lives and they had guards walking in the entrance. We went to Nyhavn which is a place full of beautiful restaurants and the houses are all painted in different colors. We tried Carlsberg beer which is the best beer of Denmark. We went to Christiania which is a place in the city where there are no laws. We also went to the Church of Our Savior where we went all the way to the top. The view was magnificent and we were able to see the entire city from up there. At the very top of the Church there is a Golden Ball and we touched it for good luck. We went to several restaurants and the food was fantastic. Most of the people in Copenhagen have blonde hair and blue eyes. I got to meet several people from Copenhagen and they were all very nice.
