Well, there are officially only 14 days left of the London CAPA program. Before we started the program we were told to write a letter (email) to our future selves on August 11th that would be sent out on a specific day in the future, and I received it the other day. To begin, I remember writing the letter not knowing what was going to happen over here, who I was going to meet, where i would go, etc. My letter started out with me saying “I hope you had the best time of your life.” Well past me, I did!!! I have met amazing people from all over the world that I will never forget. The letter continues on but there sone thing that I wrote that really stuck. “I can’t wait to live all of the adventures that you will now have in your pasts.” This really made me realize how much I have done, all of the countries that I have traveled too, and the experiences that I have in my heart now. I have been to six countries, about twenty different cities, and over hundreds of destinations. My mind and soul are completely different from the person that started out during this studying abroad process. With this being my first tie being out of America I was totally thrown into something that I was not prepared for, which was the exciting part. Looking back at that letter and the girl who wrote it, I am proud of the person that I have become because of this experience. It is bittersweet to realize that this program is almost over because that means I have experienced so much, but will not be living the life that I am now in just two weeks. Two week left… and I will make every day count.
Until next time,
Hunter Boshell
