The Borough Market is one of the biggest and most famous markets in Central London. There you can find mostly food items such as fresh produce and street food that’s made right there in front of you. I think I’ve been to the Borough Market almost every week I’ve been here so far BECAUSE IT’S JSUT THAT GOOD. There are so many tasty things there! The street food vendors are from all types of backgrounds preparing a variety of types of dishes. From Thai to Indian to Argentinian to French to traditional English styles of cuisine, there is so much to choose from it’s almost overwhelming! My absolute favorite so far is the Thai coconut pancakes. They make them right there in from of you on a special skillet that makes little tiny round pancake like circles. THEY ARE SO DELICIOUS. I am seriously going to miss all this food when I go back home. In the US we don’t really have such diversity of food (unless you are in say New York) and we don’t have markets either! I love markets (and there are endless amounts of them here). They are so fun to go to and explore and try all the different foods. It’s a place where different cultures come together and it acts as a community type hub for people in London to meet and enjoy on the weekends. My advise to America: more markets and street food please.
