Well, I’m finishing this exactly how I started: writing my blog in an airport while waiting to travel across the Atlantic Ocean. I absolutely cannot believe that my time in Maynooth is over; this is the definition of a bittersweet moment. Of course I can’t wait to see all of the people I love and miss, but it breaks my heart that I have to give up traveling to a new country every weekend with some of the most amazing people I have been blessed to meet.
This whole trip has been incredible (aside from the school part, which was subpar, but not bad), but some things stood out to me for sure. The number one highlight of the past 3 and a half months was my study break adventure with my newly-pronounced wife Ellen (#adaandellenworldtour2k16). Our journey through 4 cities in Italy has me convinced that I want to live there in the future, and our trips to Brussels, Belgium and Paris, France, two countries that I have never really had a great desire to visit, were some of the very best.
I am so thankful for this opportunity and will forever cherish every memory that I have made since September. In a little over 3 months I have been to 17 cities in 8 countries and have thousands of moments engrained in my memory that I will remember forever. Cheers.
