December 22. I was suppose to land home today but I did not.
December 23. 03:30. I finally arrived at the MCO airport after a 3 hour delay in Newark, New Jersey.
December 24. Noche Buena. The most important holiday in a my household, but luckily this year I got to spend it home without having to drive to 3 different parties in one night. Jet lag was a really issue that night.
December 25. More festive reunions and yummy leftovers. Ice cream and Ale House to wrap up the night.
December 26-28. Freebies days to meet with family members and friends.
December 29: Finally hit the gym really hard for a leg day that I would come to regret for the rest of the year. Left to North Carolina for a four day vacation at a cabin in the mountains.
January 2. 2017. And somehow I am here. Almost two weeks back in Florida and I could not resist another quick trip to the mountains. With the semester starting in two weeks, I have to buckled down. The hardest thing for me since I have been back is knowing, my life is in Orlando and not in Europe. I love my home, my family, my friends and Rollins but I can see myself flourishing in Germany. Thus I made it one of my life goals to branch out my Master’s degree or future career into Germany. I am ecstatic to be home and see what this semester at Rollins College has in store for me. Here is to many more adventures this semester and the rest of the year.
