Since my arrival in Madrid I have been having a blast. It has been really cool getting to know new people and experiencing a new culture together. All of the cultural activities that I have gone to so far have been really fun and interesting. Thus far my favorite activity was my trip to San Sebastian with a few friends this past weekend. The city was absolutely beautiful and I enjoyed every second of my time there. The food was unreal and blew away anything I had ever eaten before. The highlight of my trip was the surfing. I love to surf and this was my first time surfing in Europe. Being in the water for the majority of the weekend really helped me immerse myself into the San Sebastian community and the culture of that region of Spain. I would definitely love to go back if given the opportunity. I’m looking forward to another exciting 3 weeks here in Spain!
