One of my favorite things of the Verano Español was visiting the small town called Candelario. With a population of less than 900 people, we could appreciate how people live in the country side. Even though there was not much to do there, I am glad that we took advantage of what we could do and had a great time. I really liked how the water system was the same used many years ago and therefore there was a very antique and elaborated way of distributing the water to the different parts of the town. Another thing I liked was having contact with the locals and speaking to them. There was only one open bar at night in the whole town and we had the opportunity to mix with some of the locals and speak to them. It was really fun to hear what they had to say about Candelario and about us tourists.
