It means that the countdown has started, and something is coming close to an end. Whilst we were skyping she said that to me and it hit me that I only have a month left here. I had a moment of happiness, excited to see my family, go back to Dubai and go back to Rollins and my friends but I also felt a bit sad. I\u2019ve made friends here and have gotten used to the lifestyle here that going back is going to be somewhat shocking. Looking back on my experience here I\u2019ve traveled to so many places, got really close to my family in Hamburg, experienced a new country and I am very glad that I came here. I met someone from the States here and asked him \u201cwhy did you decide to move half way across the world?\u201d and he simply answered, without hesitation, \u201cbecause when I\u2019m old I want to look back on my life and have no regrets and I\u2019m proud I had the courage to make that decision\u201d. I think that is the perfect way to explain my thoughts because I\u2019ve traveled a lot in my life, but moving somewhere unknown by oneself is always hard and even though it was a bumpy start, I had a great end. When looking back, I realize that I\u2019ve really stepped out of my comfort zone and honestly feel that I have developed as a person and matured. Despite the time slowly dwindling, there are still the Christmas markets I need to explore, school events to attend and my sister is coming to visit as well. I am quite excited for the upcoming weeks but at the same time scared for the stress of the final exams. I have 5 exams in total starting from the 6<sup>th<\/sup> of December until the 20<sup>th<\/sup> and then I am gone and on my way to Paris. Crunch time has begun and the next time you all hear from me I will be back home in Dubai writing my final blog post of the semester!
