London saw snow that it hasn\u2019t seen in about 10 years! I\u2019ve lived in Florida my whole life and I have to say that I took the sunny weather for granted. I handled it well and stayed nice and bundled up. I guess I\u2019m writing about this because I wasn\u2019t really expecting to see this level of snow during my time here. It made me think about what I\u2019ll do after graduation in one year. I think in this blog I\u2019ll talk about what being in London has made me realize and how I can reflect on where I\u2019ve been and where I\u2019ll end up going<\/p>\n
Wow. I am graduating in Spring 2019. I can\u2019t believe I\u2019m within a year of my goal. I really wasn\u2019t sure of how I\u2019d get here and how I would finish. I just knew that I would. I started college courses in the Fall of 2011 at UCF and I was overwhelmed, had little direction and did not take it as seriously as I should have. That resulted in me eventually getting academically disqualified in 2015. That used to be so difficult to come to terms with and admit but now I wear that truth about myself on my sleeve. I\u2019m not ashamed anymore. It just makes my story that much more triumphant. I\u2019ve changed majors from Chemistry to Biomedical Sciences to Pre-Clinical Health Sciences to Computer Engineering and now finally to Computer Sciences at Rollins College. The Hamilton Holt School has given me a second chance at graduating with my bachelor\u2019s degree and it\u2019s meant the world to me. I\u2019m a completely different student who cares about each assignment and professor interaction. It all holds tremendous value and I see that now.<\/p>\n
Being in London has allowed me to network with people in the tech industry, study hard and learn great foundations in web development and digital audio as well as work on my physical fitness and comedy writing. If you\u2019re reading this and thinking about studying abroad I have to suggest that you look no further than studying in London. It\u2019s been a fantastic journey that\u2019s allowed me to reflect and work on myself.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
