This past weekend took a ferry from Buenos Aires across to Uruguay. I was able to spend the whole weekend in their capital and largest city Montevideo. They had a bunch of really nice beaches and my friends and I were lucky enough to get a place right on the beach. I have grown up my whole life in Florida on the beach so being by the water is my favorite place to be. Montevideo itself was a very interesting city; it had the big city feel but with a laid-back beach vibe. The city has around 4 million people, yet on busy roads, you may find yourself at a traffic light next to a man in a broken down horse-drawn wagon. Also, I had really missed seafood as Argentines don’t have a huge pallet for fish; so being able to get a nice seafood meal in Uruguay was 10\/10.<\/p>\n
I would definitely love to be able to live in Argentina for a longer time. Being in one of the 5 biggest cities in the Americas is something I have really enjoyed. Even after being here for this long I still feel there is so much of the city I have yet to see. I will definitely miss a lot of things about the country of Argentina and all the people I have met here.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Time here in South America has been flying by and I am approaching the end of my 5-month stay.
