As my time in London comes to an end, I have been spending my last few weeks wisely. I figured when I first arrived in London I would have done all of the touristy things by this point, but I have been saving them for nearly my whole trip. After work I have been exploring London by myself to go to the last few places I want to see before the trip comes to an end. Traveling around London by myself feels so comfortable now compared to when I first arrived which is another indication of just how much I have gotten used to this city. It feels so strange that in only four months a random city can feel like home.<\/p>\n
Along with visiting the last few places on my bucket list, I have been spending as much quality time as I can with the friends I have made while I was here. Since my roommates go to different schools around the country, it is hard to know when I will see them next. I think this is going to be one of the hardest parts about leaving London since I have gotten so close to them and they have been amazing friends. My roommates and I have been trying to get out of the flat most nights the past few weeks whether we are grabbing dinner or exploring different places while we still have the time.<\/p>\n
Wrapping up my internship has been equally as heartbreaking. I have made more personal growth during the time in my internship than I ever have in such a short time period. I have built an amazing relationship with my coworkers and boss. I decided to take these relationships as an opportunity and I asked my boss to be my professional mentor which he accepted. Although I am sad to be leaving I’m looking forward to continuing to build upon these relationships once I am back home.<\/p>\n
Overall my time in London feels much too short and I know I am going to enjoy these last few weeks as much as I can before I have to return home.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
