I can\u2019t believe that my time in London is now coming to an end.It seems just like yesterday that I arrived here, eager and ready to begin a great adventure, and now it is time for me to say goodbye. It doesn\u2019t seem right or fair. No, I refuse to call this a goodbye, for that\u2019s not what it is. It is more like an end to this chapter of my life. I am getting ready to start a brand new one on a fresh page. I am already smiling with anticipation as to what the next chapter has to bring for me. But, before I go and start the next chapter of my life, I must wrap up things here.<\/p>\n
I have grown so much from this whole experience. My eyes have been opened wide and I have seen that all the dreams and goals that I set out for myself as a little girl, can and will be accomplished. I learned that while being here. No longer do I have to worry about whether or not I have what it takes, because I can see that I do now. If I hadn\u2019t come here to study abroad, I don\u2019t think I would have learned that about myself. I would have also missed out on the great connections and friendships that I made over here. I know that these are friendships that will last me a lifetime, and I am forever blessed because of it. As I pack to go home to St. Pete, I am going back as a stronger, wiser, and smarter version of myself. I can\u2019t wait to take everything that I have learned and apply it back home and at Rollins when I return in the fall for my senior year. There are so many possibilities out there, waiting for me. I just have to go out there and take them.<\/p>\n
Oh, and if you all remember, I made a list of things that I set out for myself to do before I left London. This list included a lot of different things, from going on the London Eye, to seeing as many West End shows as I could before I left. Well, I only got through a few of those things on my list. But that\u2019s okay. I think of it as just another reason for me to come back here. Everything on my list will be completed, just not right now. But until next time…<\/p>\n
