After classes ended on Friday I hopped on a high-speed train, and\u00a0in less than 3 hours we arrived in Sevilla! It was significantly hotter in Sevilla, with a high of almost 41 degrees Celsius! I spent most of my first day in Sevilla exploring Plaza de Espa\u00f1a and Mar\u00eda Luisa Park. If it wasn&#8217;t so hot, I could have spent hours\u00a0exploring both locations! The scenery in Mar\u00eda Luisa Park was not something to miss!\u00a0I had the opportunity to explore several of Sevilla&#8217;s greatest monuments\u00a0including the following:\u00a0Parque de Mar\u00eda Luisa, Plaza de Espa\u00f1a, Catedral de Santa Mar\u00eda de la Sede, and the Real Alc\u00e1zar. The cathedral is the third largest cathedral in Europe\u00a0and the largest Gothic cathedral in the world. \u00a0A highlight of the trip was getting to see the tomb of Christopher Columbus in the cathedral.\u00a0This trip was by far my favorite experience in Spain so far!
