I went to Valencia last weekend and spent plenty of time on the beach. I would definitely recommend Valencia to any students doing the Verano program next year. There&#8217;s plenty of things to do and see in Valencia like modern architecture, science expos, tours, a huge park that stretches the length of the city, and even a zoo. The Bioparc is on the north side of the city (the park ends\/starts at the zoo), but there&#8217;s plenty of buses that go that way. I would really recommend the\u00a0zoo as well as the beach but try and buy the tickets from your hotel\/hostel because it&#8217;s much cheaper. I paid 15\u20ac at my hostel and at the gate its 24\u20ac per person. I stayed at Feetup Home Hostel which is located in the old part of the city.
