I am writing this blog eight days before arriving in Cairns for orientation. I am flying to LA in four days and I am really excited and nervous at the same time. I remember a year ago I was planning and thinking about studying abroad and what I was going to do when doing it. Now, is time to say goodbye to everyone and jump into this new adventure; time flies as we say. I cannot believe I am just eight days away from arriving in Cairns!!!!! I have so many plans, trips, visits, and ideas that I just want to be there to do all of it.<\/p>\n
Although I studied abroad before, I am really excited to start this new journey in Sydney, Australia. This is a huge opportunity for me to grow as a person, learn new skills, a new culture, new people, and to travel. I always wanted to study in Australia, even I was thinking about going to college there. Australia is a country that transmits me positivity, good energy, and drives me to try new things and to open up with people. Since I have been traveling my whole life and I study abroad in different places, I do not think that I will have a hard time adjusting to the city and life there. However, I feel a bit anxious because I have high expectations of Australia and for myself when going there and, why if my expectations do not go as planned? But I am going with a positive mind and I am really excited to go, have fun, and meet new people there; who knows, I may find the group of people with who I feel 100% myself!!!<\/p>\n
I am going to Australia in a time where there are a lot of things going on, such as Coronavirus, the fires, high temperatures, smoke, etc. However, since I am really excited to go, I feel less scared than other people I have talked to. I think that if we can go there and the program was not canceled, it should not be that bad, right? I do not know what is going to happen but what I know is that I want to have the best time of my life and to have so many experiences and anecdotes that I could be hours telling them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
