Which is why it was no surprise when I went to Rollins College, I knew I wanted to travel abroad during my time there. &nbsp;Going through a liberal arts education, I realized that transforming my perspective has changed my understanding of the world. Lena Coakley said, &#8220;You can&#8217;t see the world from somebody else&#8217;s point of view and not be changed&#8221;. I could study Asian culture for the rest of my life, but truly stepping foot in China and immersing myself will give me the unique experience that I can take with me for the rest of my life. Though I am an individual, my growth and development has resulted from years of my experiences of sharing with others and understanding different perspectives.
