My friend Ana and I decided to go to South Kensington for dinner, since it is only two tube stops away from our house. After dinner we were walking around when we spotted Niall Horan from the boy band One Direction. There was no crowd or commotion around him, which is what I would\u2019ve expected, so at first I didn\u2019t believe it was him. After looking at him several times, I said to myself \u201cthere is no way that\u2019s not him\u201d so without giving it a second thought I went up to him and asked him if he was Niall. He said yes and agreed to take a picture with me and another one with Ana. We were both in disbelief and could not process what had just happened. I have been a One Direction fan since high school, and oddly enough they are part of the many reasons why I became so enchanted by London and ended up studying abroad here. The most shocking part about running into him was that it was completely unplanned. Out of all the places in London, he was in South Kensington, just walking around with friends like a normal person, and we happened to be there too.
\nI always joked around and told everyone that I would meet One Direction during my time in London, but I never believed it would actually happen, and in such a random and casual way. This is the most \u201cLondon\u201d thing that could\u2019ve ever happened to me, I\u2019m still in shock! London, you\u2019re amazing, Thanks for the early birthday gift!! \u263a<\/p>\n
