I suppose when I sit down and think about everything I’ve done I can understand how in just one week my first month will be over, but in the whirlwind of all things London, it doesn’t feel like three weeks at all.

I could write about my classes, my internship or the sites I’ve seen, but I’d rather talk about the little things that are starting to feel like home to me.

I love the tube. Never mind the hot, stuffy rides, not only is it the perfect place to people watch, it’s actually unusually relaxing. No one talks on the tube, it’s like the piece of peace I get each day where I’m finally alone in a mass full of people who don’t care to know what I’m doing or where I’m going. In the tube I can be in a bad mood for 15 minutes if I’m just not feeling today and not feel like I’m offending someone. In the tube I can just be.

I also love this cute little side street right around the corner from my house. It’s just an ordinary little street, but the cobblestone and beautiful flowers are such a picturesque scene. I wish I lived on that little street, it’s just so charming!

Theres also one particular pub with the most gorgeous flower boxes I’ve ever seen.

And finally I have been delighted to find that they have tons of gluten free food here! Being a celiac, the gluten free lifestyle isn’t a choice for me and I was very worried that my options would be limited here, but fortunately I have found just the opposite!

That’s all for now, maybe next time I’ll share all my typical tourist photos and experiences, but for now, I hope you get a taste of the London I’m growing to love!

I can hardly believe that I’ve already been here for three weeks.
