Each time the concept of me traveling to Shanghai cam about conversation, people tend to assume the country to be a potentially culturally dangerous place. \u00a0NOTHING, and i say it again, nothing could be further from the truth.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_17335\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-17335\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.rollins.edu\/letters\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG_0492-300x225.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-17335 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.rollins.edu\/letters\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG_0492-300x225-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-17335\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Entire Communities work the land together to create a good product to sustain their local economy, It&#8217;s also a breathtaking paradise.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"attachment_17336\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-17336\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.rollins.edu\/letters\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG_06651-300x225.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-17336 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.rollins.edu\/letters\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG_06651-300x225-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-17336\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">French Concession Architecture. A city full of cultural diversity and beauty around every corner.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>While I&#8217;ve been in China, my cultural experience has been extremely positive. The amount of things I have personally learned about the Chinese culture surpassed all my expectations within the first two weeks of living here.\u00a0In Summery, they are one of the most peaceful and carrying people in the whole world. It is so hard to feel unsafe here in China, sometimes I wonder how my perception of danger will be by the time I get back to Florida.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_17337\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-17337\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.rollins.edu\/letters\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG_0547-300x225.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-17337 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.rollins.edu\/letters\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG_0547-300x225-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-17337\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Hanging out at the West Lake in Hangzhou. The scenery is spectacular and the town is full of sight seeing spots along great foods and shopping<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"attachment_17338\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-17338\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.rollins.edu\/letters\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG_07861-300x225.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-17338 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.rollins.edu\/letters\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG_07861-300x225-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-17338\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">A must see while you are here! It is small but such beautiful place! definitely got my spiritual side on!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In my own theory, the reason why Chinese have such a peaceful Ora to them, comes from their religious beliefs and\/or traditions as a society; both locally and country wide. They have such high respect for relationships among themselves and their network, combined with their traditional beliefs of a balanced way of life, yields for a recipe of social politeness and congruence. Such thing is a rare thing back in the States. \u00a0All in all, it has been the best decision in \u00a0my life.
