But I could really care less about the Bundesliga, and honestly if it’s not my crappy division three soccer team from Bahia in Brazil I could care less about the beautiful game. However in the defense of the Bundesliga division one through three I’ve never actually been to any of it’s game. Maybe it’s because they are expensive even compared to Orlando city tickets even during the hype that Orlando may finally have a good or even decent sports team. Also seeing ticket prices of sport games here, made me remember the time I went to a Solar Bears Game for $17.95, Also if you’re a Bayern München fan and you don’t have a C2 in German, and weren’t born within the Munich city limits, why are you wearing team merchandise? Is it because they have a lot of money and win soccer games?

Soccer culture here in Germany and even here in Hochschule is very weird. All the teams here in the beautiful state of Baden-Württemberg suck, the Stuttgart Bundesliga 1 team ranked as the worst team in its division, which makes it all better for me since one of the two economics professors is a die hard fan, currently living in a state of deep depression. However this is not the reason for this letter, the real reason for this topic, is that it’s October and soon to be November the two best months for the sports in America. We’re talking about professional and College football, the Cubs clinching the post season, the NHL, and the NBA will soon start. So what’s the worst possible thing that could happen, being in a country where the time change and the streaming laws, and overall the supply of streams to these games is so low you add that to the list of things that make you cry yourself to sleep.

Due to the natural nature of this program I don’t get out much, and I even less go out to a bar or pub to drink or waste time. What’s funny about all of this is that most bars here are mostly owned by foreigners, the Hochschule version of Fids is owned and operated by two Romanians who have Guinness that have made the Irish sick, and therefore have foreign television. This is not a joke, I’ve seen Germans watch Bundesliga soccer from a foreign TV channel in Germany. If you want to go to a country that makes no sense come to Germany.

Word count: 426 So being Brazilian, you’d think I’d care about soccer here in Germany.
