I have a friend who is currently studying in Glasgow, so I decided to stay with her for the 3 day weekend. When I booked my flights, I never realized how time consuming it is to actually get to the airport. I left the house at 4am for a 7am flight. I was exhausted when I got to Glasgow at 8am, so I napped for a little bit.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.rollins.edu\/letters\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/22094796779_f2eac80e52_q.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-17190 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.rollins.edu\/letters\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/22094796779_f2eac80e52_q.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, we explored a little bit more. She lives in the center of Glasgow, which was very convenient. Then on Sunday, we bought a ticket to Edinburgh for the day. It was only \u00a311 roundtrip! We arrived to Edinburgh in just an hour. When we got off the bus, the view was spectacular! I feel in love. Pictures do not give it justice. We walked around the large city in awe. We made it to the castle and a really great local pub. I didn&#8217;t try haggis, but I had a tasty lamb pie! I couldn&#8217;t stop thinking about Harry Potter. I even got to pet an owl. She was actually really heavy.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.rollins.edu\/letters\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/21660594073_03aeeb6882_q.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-17191 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.rollins.edu\/letters\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/21660594073_03aeeb6882_q.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I would definitely go back and visit Scotland. I loved Edinburgh a lot, but I still think Glasgow is a great student city.
