This past week has been the most rewarding week of the trip. We visited Reutlingen for a graduation ceremony as guests of honor. This is the city where the dual degree students will studying in. We also went to Freiburg to meet with Luisa; the previous Fulbright Scholar at Rollins College. In Freiburg we went on a guided tour of the city where we were told about historic landmarks and the history of the old city. The lady giving the tour was in traditional garbs and acted as if she from the middle ages. It was entertaining to say the least.<\/p>\n<p>I feel that my German language skills have improved overall.&nbsp; A testament to this is for the time I sat down and read from a German newspaper. &nbsp;I was surprised at how much I could understand. I didn\u2019t realize how much vocabulary and grammar I had learned in the past 3 \u00bd weeks. I am looking forward to going home to continue studying German and to share stories of my travels with friends and family.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I cannot believe that my time in M\u00fcnster is already coming to an end!
