First of all, fashion is officially over &#8211; and as someone interested in fashion who also plans to work in the industry, plus being in Paris for the holy grail of weeks out of the year, it was a lot to keep up with. The internship I have hear was very involved with fashion week and I got to learn so much about the buying process and how fashion week influences what retailers buy and how fashion houses conduct wholesales with retailers. I was fascinated and have fallen in love with it all over again.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s this bakery around the corner from my school. I eat there literally everyday for lunch. The ladies there now know me very well, and if they don&#8217;t see me reaching for the Pellegrino that always make some light hearted joke about the american and his Pellegrino. I think that&#8217;s one of the things I&#8217;ll miss about France when I return to the US. I&#8217;m so used to having a plethora of dining options; I never chose the same thing twice. But in Paris, there is a familiarity and almost camaraderie\u00a0by choosing to eat at the same place daily and I like that. I know the same can happen at home, but this is just one of the little things of my study abroad experience that have made it personable.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This month has been crazy.
