I went to the National Rugby League final and my good friend Tiffany and I were the ONLY ones from TEAN who stayed the full game. You learn in baseball to ALWAYS wait\/ have faith up to the very last inning! So we kept cheering for our Cowboys and they won in literally the last second:) We witnessed NRL history!! Definitely a highlight of my trip. I absolutely love my job at the university. I have made some fantastic Australian friends and my boss is one of the sweetest individuals I have ever met. I dedicated my job to purely traveling money and I have so far visited Broadbeach in Gold Coast\/ Surfer’s Paradise, Brisbane, and Byron Bay. In Queensland I held a koala (finally!) but I honestly did not really like the area\/ would not go again. It is very Florida themed and having most of my family from south Florida, I could just visit there if I wanted everything Miami themed! Byron Bay, on the other hand, was fantastic. The locals were interesting individuals, the food was amazing, and the experiences were unforgettable. I was able to FaceTime my dad from the middle of the ocean with a waterproof phone case.. I’m sure neither my dad nor I will EVER forget that!! I also went SKYDIVING!!!! I am SO proud of myself for actually following through with it! I want to go again as soon as possible. It was so exhilarating. I still love my host family like they are my second set of parents and am already planning my trip back to see them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
I have done a bunch so far in October!!
