Having to jump out of bed an hour early to catch my bus, or to try and make time to stop by a bakery for breakfast, is not something I would normally do back at Rollins. I can honestly say that living in Germany for a few semesters has given me more independence than living in the states. Also, having a bit of a language gap really isn&#8217;t that bad. I&#8217;m finding that getting out, and meeting the local people is actually helping me in my language classes. I sometimes feel like a kid: having to learn everything for the first time. At the same time, though, many people try to practice their english on me. Its a fun process being able to teach others, while at the same time, being able to learn from them.
