As I have been caught up in so much school work, traveling, and fun I have forgotten that the end of November is here and I will be home in 23 short days! This month I’ve been to so many new places and I’ve really been making the most of my time here as much as possible.<\/p>\n
In my head, despite how much I’m dreading the day, I’ve had a countdown until the days I go home, and it’s been giving me a sense of stress lately. I want to do as much as I possibly can, but I know I also have to prepare for things I need to do back home (i.e. my final semester, graduation, and applying to grad schools). Although I know its because they miss me, my family keeps reminding me of my imminent return and how excited they are to finally see me again after so long. I’ve had so much fun here on my own, that sometimes I forget this is the longest I’ve gone without seeing family or friends ever in my life.<\/p>\n
Because finals are coming up (yes, finals in Japanese as well!) its hard balancing time between schoolwork and traveling, but I hope I am able to balance the two and enjoy my time left here. Although I know I’m leaving so soon, I have a feeling I will be coming back to Japan soon, as I’ve made so many lifelong friends and connections here. I look forward to coming home and celebrating Christmas with my family soon!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
