I\u2019ll be studying in Aix-en-Provence, located in the south of France. To be honest, I don&#8217;t even know how to pronounce the name. The closer I get to the departure date, the more real it seems. I\u2019m starting to see pictures of the house I\u2019ll be staying at, and meeting the girls I\u2019ll be living with. I sent an email to my host mom, but I guess she only speaks French (which really stressed me out). I really want to learn French, but I love to talk, and have never been in a situation where I couldn&#8217;t communicate the way I wanted. I understand French, but from one second to another, I\u2019m not able to understand. I think that will be my biggest struggle. I\u2019m really excited to enjoy all the food and explore all the surrounding areas, but some more normal goals that I have are like maybe becoming more active by taking walks or joining a gym and doing well in my classes. The classes I\u2019ve selected are very interesting, mostly relating to my major: Political Science. Here, I\u2019ll be taking classes that relate to European politics, which I would not be otherwise learning about.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I leave for France soon.
